As a youth, Milan’s uncle shared the Gospel with him and he committed his life to Christ. He grew up in a Hindu area, but the Lord gave him a burden to seek after Jesus with his whole heart. While many young men in his village went abroad to work and earn money, he enrolled at Calvary Chapel Bible College. It was during his time at CCBC that he grew in God’s Word and Pastor Chris Blaustone taught a block class and had the opportunity to teach and pray for Milan. After graduation, he sensed a call to return to his village and plant a church in a small storefront. The bible study outgrew the small shop and the Lord provided to purchase land for what is now Calvary Chapel Dumre. Calvary Chapel River Fellowship supports Pastor Milan and was able to provide funding to aid in the construction of the church building. Many have come to know Jesus through Calvary Chapel Dumre as Pastor Milan faithfully teaches the bible verse by verse each week. Milan is now teaching out to nearby field workers, the Chepang people, travels to unreached villages with teams and is the young adults regional leader for his area.
