Both Bill and Larisa have a calling upon their lives in ministry for overseas. Larisa began her ministry in 1989, and William did as well in 1998. After getting married, they continued in their calling, and as they began to have children God continued to confirm their call as a family into ministry. Bill has shared with us about his deep love for the Arabic people. This love has sent he and his family all over the world. He is always looking for new ways to break down walls in communication between Islamic culture and the Christian culture. This has included school programs, mediating dialogue groups between mosques and churches, and one on one discipleship relationships. Over the years many doors have been opened for both of them to share their faith with those who have either never heard the truth or have misunderstood it.
They have served among Arabic-speaking people in Washington, Mexico, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. They and their six children are presently overseas. If you would like to personally receive updates on their efforts and information on how to pray for them, please email Bill at healinglamplight@gmail.com.
Pastor Mark Yocom came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1974 through his relatives when he was 10 years old. But after a year, he strayed away from the Lord. Then in 1984, the Lord got a hold of Mark at 21 years old, delivering him from drug abuse and an aimless lifestyle. Mark soon became involved in serving the Lord in different ministries including missions at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
In 1986 Mark spent a year serving in Mexico. And in 1996 the Lord called Mark to the mission field in Europe. He attended the Calvary Chapel Bible College, spent over two years on staff at the Castle owned by Calvary in Austria, and then he served for a year in Albania with a national church. He arrived in Kosovo after the war in 1999 looking for a way to serve.
Mark married his wife Celeste in 2004. Celeste, who is from Calvary Chapel Albuquerque, New Mexico, had served as a missionary in Russia for 8 years. Mark serves as the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel in Prishtina, which was founded in 2001.
Presently he conducts the Sunday service, Thursday mid-week Bible Study, and also leads a prayer meeting in his home on Tuesday evenings. Mark has been discipling a group of young men that he is training for servant leadership ministry. The outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Prishtina is also involved in reaching the youth in the community through different means including sports and vacation bible schools. They do hospital and medical outreach, Operation Christmas Child gifts to kids who are hospitalized, and they minister to the college youth at the University. Calvary Chapel Prishtina also ministers to the men and women who are serving with the NATO peace keeping mission in Kosovo. Mark also does a weekly Bible Study at the NATO HQ for US service men and women and provides chaplaincy services at the base. They are also involved in translating and publishing Calvary Chapel reading material into the Albanian language. The first and most recent book done was “Spiritual Warfare” by Brian Brodersen.
Their greatest need is for prayer partners who would faithfully intercede for the ministry and members of Calvary Chapel Prishtina. They need workers to come and serve both short and long term. If you would like to become a prayer partner or financial supporter, you may contact them through their email. You may also request to receive their monthly newsletter.
Ireland may be small with a population of 4.58 million, but it is the most Catholic country in the world, even more than the parameters of the Vatican itself. In America, you may find a reasonable number of Christians within the Catholic Church; this is not the case in Ireland. The country is currently at 0.4% Christian, which includes a wide spectrum of churches. As a result, there is only a handful of “solid, bible-based, Christian evangelical churches.” Therefore, Church-Planting is at the forefront of their evangelism efforts.
Larry and Kathy have been married and living in Ireland for 28 years. They have 3 children, Nathan, Bethany, and Naomi. Prior to 1991, they were in part-time ministry while Larry worked his commercial fishing business. Fishing out at sea was where he suffered the loss of his right arm back in 1985. Since 1994, they have enjoyed full-time ministry through Evangelism and Church-Planting both on the East and West coast of Ireland.
Much of Larry’s work involves Door-to-Door and Street Evangelism. Kathy enjoys developing relationships, hosting, and ministry communications. A profitable time takes place during the summer months with the leading of Summer Teams and a large variety of Outreach work. After 16 years treading ground and sharing the Gospel, Larry and his Evangelism Team have planted 5 Churches in the main towns of County Mayo and now moving into County Longford for their 6th Church-Plant. The team also run a small Christian Bookstore near their Westport church. With Larry’s Irish fishing background, there has been a huge open door, evangelizing those living on the nearby Islands. They have been able to get into a number of public schools (which are all Catholic), teaching children the Bible Explorer Program as an aid to the schools’ religious curriculum. Each year, the leadership produce a professional, evangelistic, Free Magazine that is collectively distributed all across Ireland by Irish Churches. It has been a great opening tool for Larry’s Door-to-Door work. All the magazines can be read on www.4you.ie. Larry has also enjoyed times of Evangelism Training and Discipleship, equipping church members on how to share their faith effectively. One of their biggest joys has been to see their long-time Seekers & New Believers Bible Study turn into their 5th Church-Plant in Claremorris town.
Please pray for Blessing and Growth within their 5 Church-Plants and for their Longford town Church-Plant in progress.
Larry works with each Church-Plant weekly – please pray for his continued stamina spreading the Gospel and for direction as the ministry expands.
They have been helping a couple small, struggling Churches on the East coast with their Evangelism – please pray for their fruit and growth.
Saved by grace, at the age of 17, Aaron and Jena both gave their lives to the Lord in August 2009. Soon after graduating High School, they attended Calvary Chapel Bible College and completed the two year program. After completing Bible College, God opened up a door to serve at the Costa Rica Teaching Site for a year. When returning to the states from Costa Rica, they were given an opportunity to serve in Uganda as interns for two months. By the end of their trip in Uganda, the Lord had made it clear to them both that this is the life that He has called them to. The question was no longer if we should go, the question became, why shouldn't we go? God has been gracious to provide and lead them step-by-step on their venture of faith, and they now serve as full-time missionaries in Nepal.
Aaron and Jena serve at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Kathmandu, Nepal. Aaron is a teacher and leads the mid-week Bible study where students, staff and people from the community can join together to worship and study Gods word. Jena works with administration and hosts teachers/pastors that stay on the campus and teach block classes.
Their desire wherever they go is to disciple and train up leaders and future church planters to be strengthened through the word of God all in the effort that the gospel would be spread to the ends of the earth. Their motive is to be faithful in sharing Gods message in unreached areas where people are in darkness worshipping other gods and have never heard the name of Jesus Christ.
Bond and Heather met at church and were married in 1999. In 2002, they planted Grace Chapel in Santee - a suburb of San Diego, CA. Bond worked full-time in the demolition industry as well as served as a Senior Pastor. Heather worked full-time as a marketing director and served alongside her husband in women's and children's ministry.
In 2008, God began stirring in their hearts a passion to reach the nations with the gospel and love of Christ. At the time, they had been leading weekend trips to Mexico for 15+ years, meeting physical needs there with clothing, shoes, food and toys as a means to share the good news of Jesus Christ. However, their hearts became burdened to reach those who were unreached with the gospel and to train up pastors and leaders in third world countries.
They began to pray and soon realized that God was opening the doors for ministry outside the walls of the church. A new season of ministry began in their lives and since that time, God has provided opportunities to serve in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nepal, India, Haiti and China as full-time missionaries.

Pray that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit as they teach the Word.
Pray for the students, pastors and leaders that Bond teaches. Pray that the students would grow in the Word of God and become bold witnesses for Jesus in reaching their own people with the gospel. Pray that churches would be planted in unreached areas.
